Founded by two brothers, George and Charles Grant in 1913. From the outset, it appeared as though this company had all the ingredient s to be the most successful of the numerous upstarts of the period. The company produced a number of models but the postwar depression and an overzealous expansion plan combined to put the company into receivership with its assets eventually being sold to the Lincoln Electric Company in 1923 for $425,000. Uncancelled and very fine.
